Technical details: Printed on black-core, European imported paper, the same casino-grade card stock Legends uses for their award-winning playing cards. This allows for more durability and the ultimate luxury feel, a night and day difference compared to standard tarot decks which are typically printed with the cheapest paper possible.
Silver Acorn Lenormand is a colorful, fully hand painted 39-card cartomancy deck inspired by flora, fauna, dreams and nostalgia.
This deck includes 1 bonus first edition card plus two additional No.28 and No.29 cards to use as you wish in your readings. Created as a kind of little companion to my first self-published deck (but of course, a stand alone deck in itself!), you'll find the same colorful little world throughout this illustrated Lenormand deck.
A little about the deck from the artist:
For my second self published deck offering, I knew I just HAD to paint my way through the Lenormand cards! There's something very special about Lenormand that hooked me years ago and I personally find myself reaching for them often for quick, everyday readings. They're blunt, to the point and don't hold back!
For my take on the Lenormand, I decided to change to names of the No. 28 and No.29 cards. Traditionally, these cards are known as the "Man" or "Gentleman" and "Woman" cards. I made the decision to change these to the "Skeleton" and "Pumpkin" for this deck. Additionally, included at the back of the deck are two extra Skeleton and Pumpkin cards I've painted to use how you wish in your readings.
Each card has been hand drawn and painted using gouache and watercolor paints on watercolor paper. Many days were spent color proofing after the paintings were completed to ensure the reproduction quality of the images were seamlessly reproduced and stayed spot on the the original color and artwork. Much like my first deck, it was important to me to create a deck for everyone, to welcome in all and inspire readers of levels and ages, from seasoned readers with years of experience to folks just starting out.

Petite in size, these cards measure 3.46” high by 2.28” wide. About the Guidebook…Each boxed set includes a full color, 86 page Silver Acorn Lenormand booklet. Short and sweet, included are general meanings for each card. I feel it's important to mention, this small booklet does not include spreads, suit correspondences, the history of Lenormand, etc. Book design and layout by Rob Harrigan with illustrations and card meanings by Stephanie Buscema.
